Frequently Asked Questions


  1. Are physical campus stores open?
    For the health & safety of the students and employees, all physical campus stores remain closed until further notice. All purchases can be made via the Valencia College Online Campus Store.

  2. How do I purchase an item not available online?
    Please contact our Customer Service Team at (407) 582-5310 or onlineorder@valenciacollege.edu to assist with your purchase.

  3. Can my online order be sent to my home?
    Online orders can be sent via UPS to your home address for a $10 shipping fee.

  4. Why is there a $10 shipping fee for online orders?
     Due to campus closures, we are not able to open our campus stores to the public. We are able to offer a $10 flat rate shipping fee for all individual orders via UPS. Any single VitalSource eBook order will have its shipping fees waived.

  5. Can I ship my order internationally?
    Yes. International orders will need to have a United States shipping and billing address when checking out on our website. On the checkout page, in the "Special Instructions" box, please input the complete international address the order will be shipped to. Our $10 shipping fee will not apply to international orders. All shipping fees are covered by the student. Any single VitalSource eBook order will have its shipping fees waived.

  6. Can I pick up my online order?
    A curbside pickup option will be available at West Campus for a limited time.

  7. If my order is damaged or missing an item, what should I do?
    Any order discrepancies must be reported to the Campus Stores Customer Service Team within 48 hours of receiving the order. They can be reached at (407) 582-5310 or at onlineorder@valenciacollege.edu.

  8. When will my online order arrive?
    Once your order is processed, it should arrive within 2-3 business days. You will receive an email message when your order has been processed by the Campus Store Team.

  9. How do I track the status of my order?
    • Click "Sign In" on the upper right-hand conner.
    • Enter your email and password.
    • Click "Order History" on the top center of the web page.
    • Scroll through order history to review the status of your orders
    • Click on "View Details" to review more detailed order information
  10. How do I find my UPS tracking number for an order I have placed?
    Once your order is shipped, you will receive a tracking number via email from UPS. You may use the tracking number to track your package on the UPS Tracking Website.

  11. Can I use my financial aid for online orders?
     You may use your financial aid by entering your student VID number and choosing “financial aid” as a tender type during the checkout process.

  12. How do I authorize my financial aid to be used at the campus store?
     Students who would like to use financial aid must submit authorization via Atlas prior to placing an order. For directions on how to authorize your financial aid funds, please click here for detailed instructions. Once submitted, the authorization should be activated within one business day.

  13. How do I find and purchase my course materials?
    You can access all your course materials directly from your detail schedule in Atlas. Please visit our Buy Textbooks page.

  15. What does the terms "Required", "Optional", and "Choose One" mean?
    • Required - Titled material certified by the professor as essential to the course
    • Optional - Titled material available for purchase as supportive material to the course, but it is not required for the course.
    • Choose One - Pick your perferred format (physical textbook or digital material) of the required title.
  16. What does the term “back-ordered” mean?
     The item is not available at this time, but we are expecting to receive more stock at a later date. If you place an order, the item will be processed when it becomes available.

  17. What does the term “out of stock” mean?
     The item is not available and we are not expected to receive more stock. You are not able to place an order for this item.

  18. How do I access my VitalSource ebook?
    After receiving notification of your order being processed, an email from VitalSource will be sent to you within two hours. The email will contain instructions on how to access your eBook. You may need to search all folders within the email address you provided. Any single VitalSource eBook order will have its shipping fees waived.

  19. Who should I contact if my VitalSource ebook cannot be accessed?
    If you have received your VitalSource email but are having difficulty accessing your eBook, please contact VitalSource Support.

  20. What does the term “Open Educational Resource” mean?
    Open Educational Resources (OER) are materials that will be provided by the professor at no cost to the student.

  21. How can I purchase a webcam that is required for my class?
    Webcams can be purchased via the Valencia College Online Campus Store. Financial Aid can be used to purchase webcams.

  22. Who should I contact if I need additional assistance?
    Campus Stores Customer Service Team is available to assist you Monday-Friday from 8am to 8pm and Saturday-Sunday from 10am-6pm. They can be reached at (407) 582-5310 or at onlineorder@valenciacollege.edu. Hours of operation are extended during the first two weeks of each semester.
